Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Vanguard Leadership.

My career has been built around one consistent objective: developing people, improving performance, and building high-performing teams.

I began my leadership journey in the British Army, serving for over 11 years with the military. During that time, I held a variety of leadership and instructional roles, including operational deployments, battalion physical training, recruit development, and the delivery of training in demanding, high-pressure environments. Those experiences taught me that successful organisations are built on clear leadership, disciplined execution, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Following my military service, I transitioned into the private security industry, where I established and led specialist security operations before progressing into senior operational leadership roles across British Columbia. Throughout my career, I have been responsible for leading large teams, improving operational performance, developing standard operating procedures, implementing business systems, strengthening compliance, and delivering leadership development across multiple organisations.

Today, as the founder of Vanguard Leadership, I work with business owners, managers, and leadership teams to help them build stronger organisations from the inside out.

My approach goes beyond traditional leadership training. I believe sustainable business success comes from combining effective leadership with robust systems, clear communication, operational efficiency, and a culture where people are empowered to think independently, take ownership, and continually improve.
